§ 22.04.370. Mobile home or manufactured home.

  • "Mobile home or manufactured home" means a structure, transportable in one or more sections, which is built on a permanent chassis, is designed to use with or without a permanent foundation when connected to required utilities, is intended for human occupancy, and is being used for permanent residential purposes. A "mobile home or manufactured home" is a structure that will not meet the requirements of the Uniform Building Code, but will comply with manufactured housing construction standards as administered by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. A certificate tag, issued by Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, will be attached to the structure. For floodplain management purposes, the term "mobile home or manufactured home" also includes park trailers, travel trailers and other similar vehicles placed on a site for greater than one hundred eighty consecutive days.
