§ 2.104.150. Disposal.

  • The board of county commissioners is authorized to dispose of personal property when: possessing neither utility or monetary value; wherein the cost of ownership exceeds expected sale proceeds; the property is unserviceable, expendable, uneconomical, or not in the best interest of the county; wherein a law, ordinance regulation or directive requires disposal; or a duly authorized governmental official (i.e., health officer) directs abandonment or destruction. The board of county commissioners shall be responsible for the determination, procedure and disposal of the above items.
