§ 2.104.130. Exchanges of county property.

  • The board of county commissioners is authorized to exchange county property for property of substantially equal value with any individual or entity by private negotiation, and such property received by the county in exchange shall be distributed, held or managed in the same manner as the property conveyed by the county. The board shall make a record of the basis for its determination that the county property and property for which it is exchanged are of substantially equal value.
