§ 22.56.265. Parks and open spaces, recreational facilities.

Parks and open spaces, and recreational facilities are permitted as special uses in the following zone districts: HI.

B.

Minimum Conditions.

1.

Parks, open spaces and recreational facilities intended for outdoor activities for use by the public shall be screened from neighboring industrial uses by Type 2 landscaping in accordance with Chapter 22.47.

2.

Outdoor play areas shall be buffered from adjacent industrial areas where heavy machinery is in common use through the use of berms or other means to mitigate noise impacts to the play areas.
