§ 22.04.532. Senior housing facility.

  • "Senior housing facility" means an independent living facility that consists of dwellings exclusively designed for and occupied by senior citizens sixty-two years of age or older. A senior housing facility may have a communal dining area, recreation facilities (library, lounge, game room), laundry facilities and open space. A senior housing facility does not include a game room), laundry facilities and open space. A senior housing facility does not include a facility that provides nursing staff or assisted living staff; or that provides health care services that require state or federal licensing. The facility may consist of individual dwelling units of a barrier-free design, with separate bathroom facilities and a full kitchen.
