§ 22.04.525. School.

    "School" means an institution of learning, whether public or private, which offers instruction in those courses or study required by the Washington Education Code or which is maintained pursuant to standards set by the State Board of Education. This definition includes a nursery school, kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, senior high school or any special institution of education, but it does not include a vocational or professional institution of higher education, including a community or junior college, or university.

    B.

    "Nursery school" or "kindergarten" means an institution primarily engaged in educational work with preschool children and in which no child is enrolled on a regular basis for more than eight hours per day.
