§ 21.21.010. Intent.

  • It is the intent of this chapter to:

    A.

    Encourage the preservation of good agricultural uses for their value as economic assets as well as their value as open space;

    B.

    Facilitate the orderly transition from agricultural to more intensive residential use if and when such agricultural uses are no longer feasible for economic or technical reasons;

    C.

    Have available an appropriate zoning district which may be applied to areas of agricultural land with greater than twenty contiguous acres.
