§ 21.06.128. Automobile-oriented use.

  • "Automobile-oriented use" means any use of land which provides a service directly to a motor vehicle; or which provides goods or services to the occupants of a motor vehicle while seated therein; or which is a freestanding eating establishment characterized by over-the-counter service of pre-prepared or quickly prepared food which is ready to eat and packaged primarily for consumption in vehicles or off-premises. For the purpose of this chapter, automobile-oriented uses shall include, but not be limited to, such uses as service stations having no more than three interior service stalls, car washes, drive-in banks, drive-in laundries or dry cleaners, and freestanding drive-in or carry-out eating establishments. Automobile-oriented uses shall not be interpreted to include vehicle sale, rental and service establishments.
