§ 20.54.060. Application for a special use.

    Before submitting an application for a hearing examiner approved special use permit (see Chapter 20.54.015), the applicant shall submit a request form and one copy of the proposal to the resource stewardship department for a presubmission conference. At minimum, the proposal shall contain in a rough and approximate manner the information required in the special use application. The purpose of the presubmission conference is to enable the applicant to obtain the advice of affected County departments as to the applicability of the intent, standards and provisions of this title to the proposal. Upon receipt of a properly prepared request, the resource stewardship department shall notify the applicant of the time and place for the presubmission conference.

    The procedures controlling application for and the review and approval of special uses shall be as provided in Chapter 20.60. See Section 20.60.020(3)(c) for expanded public notification requirements.
