§ 15.07.090. Inspections and right of entry.

    Inspections and Right to Enter. When the director has reasonable cause to believe that a violation of this chapter exists, the County shall have the right to enter the premises at reasonable times for the purposes of inspection, investigation, sampling, or records examination. The county shall have the right to inspect and copy any of the person's records that are required by, or that relate to, compliance with the terms and conditions of these regulations. The county shall have the right to set up on the person's premises such devices as are necessary to conduct sampling, inspection, compliance monitoring, and/or metering operations.

    Search Warrants. The county shall first make a reasonable effort to notify the owner or other person in control of the property and request entry. If entry is refused, the director shall have recourse to the remedies provided by law to obtain entry, including applying to the court to issue a criminal search warrant.
