§ 14.32.020. Section [A] 103 amended—Department of fire prevention.

International Fire Code sections [A] 103.1 and [A] 103.2 are amended to read as follows:
[A] 103.1 General. The department of fire prevention is established within the jurisdiction under the direction of the fire code official. The function of the department shall be implementation, administration and enforcement of the provisions of this code. The official in charge of the department shall be known as the Director. The director assumes the duties of the fire code official.

[A] 103.2 Appointment. The director shall be appointed by the appointing authority of the jurisdiction.
