§ 13.56.130. Permit fee.

  • Before a Permit is issued pursuant to this Chapter, the applicant shall pay to the County a Permit fee, which shall be determined in accordance with a fee schedule adopted by the Board by resolution. Fees will be reasonably related to the costs of processing applications, inspecting and reviewing plans and may also include the costs of impact to the rights-of-way. As used in this Chapter, these costs include, but are not necessarily limited to, the costs of permitting rights-of-way occupants, verifying rights-of-way occupation, mapping rights-of-way occupations, inspecting job sites and rights-of-way restorations, administering this Chapter, and costs incurred by the County relating to the degradation of the rights-of-way, i.e., the cost to achieve a level of Restoration as determined by the County at the time the Permit is issued.
