§ 13.56.070. Police Powers.

  • The Owner's and Permittee's rights hereunder are subject to the police powers of the County, which include the power to adopt and enforce Local Law, including amendments to this Chapter, necessary to protect the safety, health, and welfare of the public. The Owner and Permittee shall comply with all Local Law enacted, or hereafter enacted, by the County. The County reserves the right to exercise its police powers, notwithstanding anything in this Chapter, or in any Permit, Franchise or License to the contrary. Any conflict between the provisions of this Chapter, a Permit, Franchise or License and any other present or future lawful exercise of the County's police powers shall be resolved in favor of the latter.
