§ 10.44.010. Penalty for violation.

  • Every person who, in any case under any circumstances not otherwise specially provided for, shall wilfully resist, delay or obstruct any duly commissioned police officer or any person lawfully commanded by or lawfully assisting any duly commissioned police officer in discharging or attempting to discharge any legal duty of his office, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than ninety days or by a fine of two hundred fifty dollars or both such fine and imprisonment.
