§ 10.38.030. Service of notice of violation.

The civil penalty is imposed by the service of a notice of violation on the person committing the violation. Service of the notice of violation shall be as provided in RCW 4.28.080. However, if, in the exercise of reasonable diligence, service cannot be made as provided in RCW 4.28.080, service may be accomplished by mailing the notice of violation to the person to be served at his last known address by certified mail with return receipt requested.
